the Green Oak Mall in Brighton, MI.
Stop in for some friendly chess,
good food
and 'refreshments'.
Everyone of all ages and playing strength are
welcome to attend. And free lessons to all beginners!
The 2026 Club Rapid Tournament Champions were
crown and it was John Owens and Paul Mills tying for first place! Congratulations
to those fine gentlemen.
Our next no-cost tournament will start on
Monday, November 9, 2026 at 6:30 pm. It
is the BIG ONE! It is our Club Champion Tournament!
The time limit will be 45 minutes / game with
a 5 second delay.
We will play one round per Monday night,
leaving plenty of time for casual (coffeehouse) chess. Based on entries, the tournament
will last 3 or 4 rounds. That is to be determined.
It is a fun event and again, free to all
entries! Come and join the fun!
